Support Soccer Related Service Projects
The Montana Futbol Foundation is passionate about prospecting ways to serve others through soccer based events. GFF's inaugural futbol service event will be a 17 day service trip where 32 players will travel to Tanzania to help build a soccer pitch, coach the young disadvantaged Tanzanian youth players, provide physical training techniques, and share first aid training methods. Support Underfunded Players
Montana, being a large sparsely populated state, requires much more travel for soccer at at a much higher cost often resulting in less advantaged players dropping out for financial reasons. As funds develop, MFF will prospect for these players and provide some additional funding to help keep them playing the beautiful game.
Support Montana Referee Development
Unfortunately, Montana is facing a severe referee shortage that is having consequences on the Montana soccer player experience. Sadly, a few spectators have made refereeing unbearable to many young referees and parent referees alike, and covid slowed many training efforts. GFF is working with the Montana Refereee Association in hopes of developing some funds to help support youth referee development throughout the state.
Bozeman's Adult Futsal Tournament
In 2019 and 2020, the Bozeman Blizzard Futsal Tournament was run by GFF to raise funds for high school players to travel to soccer development events. Adult players from around the region participated. The tournaments were staffed by the players and board members. Special thanks to the many referees that donated their time as well as the entire Terry Family that has worked tirelessly to administer the event.
