About the Montana Futbol Foundation
The Montana Futbol Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a focus on constructing better people, culture and education through soccer. Current goals include 1) helping local soccer players experience personal growth while playing soccer and providing community services locally and abroad, 2) supporting the growth and development of referees in the state of Montana and 3) helping finance local youth players that would other wise drop out of soccer due to monetary restraints.
Director Hunter Terry combines a storied and decorated coaching career with a history of community service that makes him a natural fit for leading the Montana Futbol Foundation. Currently Hunter is the head coach of the Bozeman High Hawks, Terry, his assistants, and his players have accumulated 8 state final appearances winning 4 state championships. He has worked at Bozeman High in special education for that time period. Having grown up in Butte playing and coaching, Hunter has a unique understanding of Montana soccer.
